Freed for life

40 people, a mix from our local churches and King's Lodge staff and students, are attending our fourth Freedom Course. There is such a hunger as we teach and testify to the Biblical truths of seeing the spiritual realm, the beauty of repentance, our authority in Christ , breaking the power of lies in our lives and living in God's truth and power.

"For the past three years I've been under tremendous pressure to do things right, then a month ago I prayed with two people who felt that this heaviness extended from my grandfather, a very devout Catholic man who made religion his idol. This wasn't just me having a hard time and I had the power in Christ to stop it right then and there. After repenting on behalf of my grandfather and cutting off the sin of idolatry, there was a marked difference in the weight on my shoulders. No longer did I have to live up to an unbearable standard. I can now live in grace and deep, beautiful intimacy with God."

We sense an urgency as the Holy Spirit takes us back to the truths we have always 'known' but perhaps have not fully lived in, so that we are free to see His Kingdom come in power like Jesus did.
